Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion My proudest achievement is being the mother of three LHS fellow graduates, Peter Oberheide, class of '88', Tom Oberheide, class of '93' and Matthew Korn, class of '99'. I am presently living in Sarasota, Fl. where I have had many jobs- and actually gotten paid- elementary school teacher, librarian, caterer, seamstress (thanks to Mrs. Wyatt), needlepoint and knitting instructor (although I'll never be as good a knitter a Mary Weinstock), reseacher at Edward Jones (Series 7 license), and occasional backup singer in my son's rock and roll band in Austin. Currently my most fun is spending time with my grandson Elliott Lewis Oberheide, who is 1.5 and lives in Golden, CO. I also like to read, walk, cook, stitch, and hit the speed bag. I am still painting custom needlepoint canvases and have recently started a business, "Drag Hag Rags", which costumes ddrag queens. My downfall is freecell on the computer.

Dick and I have been married 46 years- yikes time flies! We have 3 grown children( boy, girll, girl) and 1 grandaughter and a 2nd grandchild on the way. Our son Chip and his wife live in San Francisco, our daughter McClain and her husband and 2 year old Grace live in Denver, and our daughter Whitney and her husband(& baby to be) live in St Louis. We all love to travel and have been fortunate to do a lot of it separately and together. Dick retired in Dec. so our suitcases and golf clubs are getting lots of use.

![]() I've been traveling to Atlanta, Georgia recently to visit my good friend Paige. While there I visited the Coca- Cola company, Stone Mountain, and many other places like their Botancal Gardens. Thinking back, I have many fond memories of high school. One of which is spending time with my close friends as well as going to my favorite Algebra class wth Mrs Carol. She was nice and always helped me, making my time at school more enjoyable. |

Having retired I have become a knitting savant, a beader and a volunteer. I'm enjoying our grown children and almost grown grandchildren, lots of travel, trying to keep up with Rich, and functioning as the web mistress (make that web goddess) for this site. Hope you are all enjoying this site and that we'll see you at our 55th. Ok so this photo is not quite from High School but almost. Rich still looks exactly the same. I do not.

In August I climbed Quandary, my first 14,000 foot peak. Next year I'm thinking about Pike's Peak. Anyone want to come with me? By the way, the letter jacket on the web site still fits me and I plan to wear it on Friday night, How about you?

Life has been great. After over forty years developing educational programs in the healthcare field, I retired and wrote a children's book and am enjoying my six grandchildren. Creating hand-crafted greeting cards, which sell in a local coffee shop, is a creative, therapeutic enterprise; and in order to stay physically and mentally healthy, I go to the gym regularly, travel several times a year with my husband, teach a retirement course, and read lots of books.
